About Our Business

Established in 1948 by Richard E. Bechtold, our company has grown to a full service insurance
agency.

Currently, Bechtold Insurance Agency serves the insurance needs of about 1000 individuals
and families, and the insurance needs of 1000 business concerns in Cook, Lake, and DuPage
Counties.

Our office includes a state-of-the-art computer system for record keeping.  In addition, we have
a special rating computer so that instant rate comparisons can be made of the country's finest
insurance companies.

Greg Bechtold is a veteran of numerous and prestigious Agency Council positions where he heads up discussions with the insurance companies in policy and direction.

Chris Bechtold has held numerous insurance company / agency liasson positions and is a leader and speaker in Erie Insurance Coffeehouse program throughout the State of Illinois.      

Rea Robinson has received multiple awards for Personal Lines underwriting including the highly regarded Founder's Awards for five years running.
